Geocache Description:

Come out for a hearty breakfast and then.......if you dare.......have a HOWLIN' time in the SGL!

  • LOCATION: The Beltway Diner--250 South Church St. Hazleton, PA
  • DATE: Sunday, APRIL 9th 2017
  • TIME: Starting at 9AM and lasting until approximately 10:30AM



The idea of this event is to have a meet & greet for area cachers. After breakfast some of us may go on a hike in the nearby SGL, but joining the hike is not a requirement to attend the breakfast event.

Keep in mind, NO PURCHASE IS REQUIRED to attend the event.........and likewise you are not required to go on the hike afterward.
If you do decide to go on the hike, please keep in mind that it will be around EIGHT to NINE miles.......but {mostly} along fairly flat gameland roads and trails. If you will be going, please bring water and a snack and wear sturdy footwear. There is no hunting season at this point in the year (and NO HUNTING is allowed on Sunday anyway), but it is never a bad idea to wear bright orange in order to be seen while in the SGL!

Of course if you DO go out to the SGL to HOWL with the wolves all day, you just might end up wanting to snuggle up with this guy at the end of it :)



PLEASE--Log a "will attend" log prior to Thursday APRIL 6th so that I will be able to give an accurate count of attendees to the diner waitstaff..........THANK YOU!!
