We were out caching with TurtleFan recently when she hit her 1499th cache—one short of a big milestone. It was an inauspicious day in many ways-- SEVEN dnfs in our totals, the weather was hot and clammy, and we even had our Needs Maintenance logs deleted (without explanation) by a cache owner. With all of the aggravation you’d think it would be a day to forget, but we remember that the laughs kept coming and the three of us had a great time. Sometimes it’s not about the number of smilies you log to your account at the end of the day—it’s about the number of smiles you have on your face during the day. Thanks for the fun, TurtleFan! And congratulations on reaching #1500 the following day!
