Folk rocks! Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Bear_Left: Oops! I thought I'd done this!

Yes, it's gone, as has most of the reason for it being here.

What was once a patch of bush in the suburbs is now just, well, more suburb.

Geocache Description:

A simple traditional cache in a folksy place!

The only reason for the name is that this is the location of a folk club where the Bears occasionally enjoy listening to musicians once a month.
Well, that's the first word... the second word will become obvious when you search for the cache!

The nearby house you probably parked in front of is "Falls Farm" and it was built in 1911 by William Patterson and given its current name in 1924 by the Sudlow family. In 1983 it was threatened with demolition, but was saved by members of the Lesmurdie Ratepayers Association. It's been restored and added to, and is now used by community groups.

There's a plaque to the west of the house explaining why it's called Neil Tonkin Park.

This was originally a simple multicache, but we had to move the GZ before it became the backyard of someone in the new housing development that's being built on what was Falls Farm land, and decided that the new hiding spot was close enough to the house to become a trad and still show it to you.

The cache is a 0.65litre plastic container, in the obvious place.
