cache a pour but de vous présenter un observatoire appelé
RAMSAR,
présentant
la faune et la flore de la Petite Camargue.
Depuis cette micro-cache [G77], observez la nature de la Petite
Camargue et recherchez la G77 en vous déjouant des Moldus, présent
pour l’intérêt du coin.
Restez discret et vous ne rencontrez aucun problème pour cette
cache.
Depuis cette position, partez découvrir l’Espiguette
et son site naturel et sauvage.
Définition de la convention RAMSAR :
marais, lagunes, étangs, les zones humides ont en commun la
présence de l’eau, douce, saumâtre ou salée, toute ou une
partie de l’année.
C’est
en 1986 que la France adhéré à la convention relative aux zones
humides d’importance internationale particulièrement comme
habitat des oiseaux d’eau, dite convention de Ramsar, du nom
de la ville d’Iran où elle a été signée en
1971.
La
Frances’est
alors engagée à préserver les zones humides
d’intérêt majeur de son territoire.
Le
choix des sites se fait selon des critères tels que la présence
d’espèces animales et végétales rares, en danger ou en grand
nombreux (oiseaux d’eau notamment), ou encore le rôle
qu’ils jouent pour le maintien des populations
humaines.
Parmi
ces zones françaises d’importance internationale : la
Camargue et la Petite Camargue (Camargue Gardoise et Etang de
l’Or). C’est pour sa richesse biologique (espèces
animales et végétales rares), ses fonctions hydrologiques
(prévention des inondations notamment), économiques (récolte du
sel, du roseau, élevage, pêche, chasse …) et culturelles
(qualité paysagère …) , que cette vaste zone humide de
36 000 hectares (dont 5 600 de roselières) a été inscrite
à l’inventaire RAMSAR en 1996.
