Geocache Description:

This cache series follows the route of one of Iowa’s most ambitious road building programs – the plank road between Burlington and Mount Pleasant. Several historical markers commemorate the Plank Road route. These were placed by various chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Successful completers of this series will be able to collect the clues to a special bonus cache in the area.

Toll Booth #4 - A quick easy roadside park cache near Danville, IA. Park hours are 6:00am - 10:30pm. Near this place on the Old Plank Road stood the Duke Hotel. Your clue from the BONUS CACHE can be found on the park's sign. Congratulations to RCujoS on FTF!
