Geocache Description:

Welcome to WAI? v7, the latest installment in my "Who Am I?" series of caches. The clues below should help point you in the right direction to determining the identity of the mystery person. I will occasionally add more clues as needed. As for the cache itself you will take notice that I have not listed it as available 24/7. The reason for this shall become apparent in due time. However, resourceful individuals will be able to overcome this if they so desire. The container is relatively small and contains the usual logbook, pencil, and tradeable doo-dads. I have also enclosed a new splashy red toy pickup truck. I believe there is a certain sting member that really enjoys these

Clues as to who I am:

1) I am a real person, not a fictious character.
2) I was born in a small upstate New York town in the mid nineteenth century.
3) I graduated Amherst College in the mid 1870's.
4) Upon graduating from college I relocated to Boston to start my own supply company, one that supplied products used in the business I am famous for.
5) I am widely known for an "invention". However, it is not your normal run-of-the-mill invention. It is more of an idea or concept that revolutionized a certain sector of life that still widely exists today.
6) I died of a stroke in the late December of 1931.

When you think you have determined who I am then convert my date of birth to YYYYMMDD and use the following calculations to find the cache.
North: subtract 14081266 from my DOB
West: subtract 11207411 from my DOB
