A regular size cache located at the Maryland House Rest Stop on I-95, just north of Exit 80 (Belcamp, MD).
This rest area used to have an active cache, which was archived last year. So, to fill in the void, I have placed a cache in some woods just off the parking lot at the south end of the rest area. This is Version 2.0 of that cache. This should give the traveling geocacher a good excuse for a walk in the woods to stretch his legs. The parking area near the cache is accessible to both north and south bound traffic.
Please do not park on I-95 to get to this cache. There is plenty of parking at the rest area, and it is only a short walk. There is a path down the hill into the woods--there is no need to go bushwhacking down the hill to get near ground zero.
During the summer months, briers and ticks will be a problem.
The cache is large enough for a good number of travel bugs or geocoins looking for a place to rest and change rides. I do not want to call this cache a TB hotel until I am sure that this location is safe for such a cache.

UPDATE (26 Sep 2009): Version 1.0 has gone missing--the victim of a probable muggle attack. Version 2.0 is now in place a short distance from the location of Version 1.0 and more off the beaten trail. Anyone who logged in Version 1.0 is welcome to come back out to find and log Version 2.0 (since this is both a new container and new location).
UPDATE (22 Jan 2014): Version 3.0 is now open for business with the reopening of the MD House. It is in a different location from Version 2.0, and I have upgraded the container to an ammo can so this can serve as a TB Hotel. Anyone who logged in Versions 1.0 and 2.0 is welcome to come back out to find and log Version 3.0 (since this is both a new container and new location).
UPDATE (2 Jul 2015): Version 4.0 is now open for business--replacing a muggled Version 3.0. It is in a slightly different location from Version 3.0. It is a little more secluded so it will hopefully not go missing. Anyone who has logged previous versions are welcome to come back out to find and log Version 4.0.
UPDATE (17 Mar 2018): Version 5.0 is now open for business--replacing a muggled Version 4.0. It is in a slightly different location from Version 4.0. I have moved away from the recent concentration that had doomed Version 4.0. Anyone who has logged previous versions are welcome to come back out to find and log Version 5.0.

UPDATE (2 Jan 2023): Version 7.0 is now open for business--replacing a muggled Version 6.0. It is in a slightly different location from Version 6.0. Anyone who has logged previous versions are welcome to come back out to find and log Version 7.0. I had to choose a slightly more inaccessible location in order to deter muggles. However, to the experienced cacher, you should be able to figure out its location from 50 feet away.
