Geocache Description:

Almost a Park and Grab at the trail head for the Old Carriage Trail to Mt. Battie.

******UPDATE/WARNING!!***** Two cachers were stung by bees, likely ground wasps or yellow jackets on 9/29/2010. Watch where you step! This cache is placed near the beginning of one of the least used trails to get to the top of Mount Battie. While paved at the start, the trail rises quickly and becomes a challenging one mile hike. Not much hiking required to find this cache. Dogs are allowed on the trail if leashed. Congrats to parmachenee for the FTF.
