Wisconsin Alphabet of Places Challenge!

To complete this challenge, you (specifically your geocaching user/team name) must find 26 geocaches in the state of Wisconsin, one for each letter of the alphabet.

There are some pretty interesting place names (cities, towns, villages, and unincorporated communities) in Wisconsin and this caching challenge may help you get to know them a little better.

** Requirements **
To Log this cache as a find you must:

1) Find & log a geocache in a place (City, Town, Village, or Unincorporated Community) from this list that starts with each letter of the alphabet. For X choose a place that contains the letter anywhere in the name (like St Croix Falls).

The cache must be 2 miles or less from the place coordinates listed on PlaceNames. You must use the coordinates referenced for "Populated Place" or "Administrative Division".

Special Rulings List:
- GC16Z4C - WSQ North York - Is 2.045 mi from York/York Center and has been ruled to qualify for these 2 places.

For determining location of any geocache, published coords must be used. No place name can be used more than once in your own list of places. You must find 26 caches and the final to complete this challenge.

2) Submit a picture of your caching team near a population sign, "welcome to" sign, or town hall (with placename in the picture) for one of the 26 places used in your challenge list. The sign you choose cannot be the same as any prior sign submitted. The sign & picture must show the name of the place. Each team/username must complete the requisite caches and submit a unique sign picture to log the final online.

5/24/09 - Town Hall has been added to the list of acceptable features for the picture requirement. This is for those places where they do not even have a sign! Please make sure that the place name on the town hall is visible in the picture if you choose this option.

3) Post your list (in alphabetical order) in your online log on this cache page and use this format:

Place Name - Waypoint ID - Cache Name - Date Found

Example:
Appleton - GC10A3J - Dr Jekyll & Mr Heid - 8/15/2008
Brookfield - GC19TJH - Another walk in the Park_46 - 7/11/2008
Chippewa Falls - GC1C7WR - Gaging the Chippewa River - 3/8/2009

Further details on the caches that qualify for the challenge list:

The final is along a wooded bike trail in Kaukauna near the 1000 islands nature center. See add'l waypoints for the trailhead coordinates. The difficulty of the final hide is a 1.5. There are several other caches nearby that would qualify for "K" This cache container is a green ammo can.
