Geocache Description:

A quick Bark and Grab on the way to Marty's favorite place to play.

This cache is a continuation of the "Puppy Luv:" series by the Cosmic * Cachers (GC1A46G). It was placed in honor of an English Jack Russell Terrier named Marty; who became part of our family some seven months ago.

Marty had been scheduled to be euthanized at the animal shelter which he had been placed in after he was found wandering the streets and back alleys in southern Iowa. He was then saved from this impending doom by the caring folks at a local non-profit animal rescue. Upon seeing Marty’s picture on a popular animal adoption listing website, we knew that he just had to come live with us.

Marty is very friendly and always in motion. Being a Jack Russell Terrier, he does tend to demonstrate some OCD behaviors at times. Especially when it comes to audible vulcanized spheroid objects. He is always up for a good game of fetch; always.

The original cache container is a 35mm film can that was retrieved from the “Puppy Luv:” cache in Clinton, IA. Bring your own writing utensil and your favorite geo-pup buddy (or buddies). After finding the cache be sure to visit the Thornberry Off-Leash Dog Park located, at the coordinates listed below, just down the road.
