This is our 3rd hide and I'm super excited about this one!
I recently returned from the great city of Las Vegas and I thought that it would be a good idea to share a little fun from my 2nd favorite city! While there, I picked up some swag that will hopefully spread the cheer of one the greatest cities around! I absolutely LOVE Las Vegas and thought that it would be fun to keep placing some theme caches out there!
As a quick note, my GPSr was jumping all over the place and I went back 3 times to try to get a solid reading. I think the coordinates being used will get you almost on top of the cache, but you may need to hunt a little! (ignore the coordinates on the cache and log book - they probably are not correct)
If you aren't familiar with the area you should note that there are railroad tracks in the area (they will be on the opposite side of the river/water and on the opposite side of the cache location). The railroad tracks are separated by the Yahara River Trail (which is a City maintained path/trail) by water and natural barriers (trees/growth/rocks). The cache is located VERY close to the River Trail - you should not have to travel more than 10 feet into the growth (AWAY FROM THE RAILROAD TRACKS!). PLEASE be aware that there are railroad tracks in the area, but the cache and surrounding areas are clearly marked and barriers are clear.
The cache is a small lock and lock and is PACKED with TONS of Las Vegas goodies. I am sending out my Las Vegas TB in this cache and in keeping with the theme, the FTF can grab the two WI Scratch Off Lottery Tickets - they are yours to keep and scratch (just note here if you won anything!!!). Hope you hit the jackpot with them!
Please keep this one fun for everyone and trade up, trade equal or please don't trade. As stated before, this is a small lock and lock and when originally placed it was absolutely stuffed with items.
Please hide this one just as you found it and be very careful for muggles. We had 4 joggers pass us and 2 dog walkers - so the path is definately used!
Hope this one is fun for everyone and good luck!!!
