The Standing Cedars Community Land Conservancy was founded in 1994 to protect land along the Lower St. Croix River, for the health of the river valley and as a legacy for future generations.
The trail (old road) leading from the parking area will get you close to this cache without any bushwacking. But be prepared, as it is all downhill.
It's a long, but beautiful walk along the sourthern edge of the old ski area.
A couple of requests by Standing Cedars:
No Bikes......foot traffic only.
Keep dogs leashed April 15 to August 1 to protect nesting birds.
Geocachers should always be aware that spring turkey hunting, small game, bow deer and gun deer seasons are enjoyed on these properties by a limited number of people.
