Can you find fifty caches in Maine that have all of the fifty states names in their titles? Once you have found,signed and log all fifty of those caches you can sign this cache. The Fifty State series was created with all geocachers in mind. The terrain ratings range from 1 to 3.5 and the difficulty ratings range from 1 to 5. There are all size containers from the dreaded nacro(micro nano combination) to the large 5 gallon bucket. There are some park and grabs and some park and search. Some require a hike of .5miles and others 1.5 miles. Some have scenery and others do not. Some of these are creative and others are the old standby. I think this series has it all and there is something for everyone. This cache is located on the Bog Brook Trail which is part of the Sheepscot Wellspring Land Alliance which was formed in 1990 to help preserve the Bog Brook marsh. The Bog Brook trail is marked with blue blazes and is very easy to follow. The total trail length is 2.5 miles. There are 4 other trails that come into thie Bog Brook trail that will take you to other places like Frye Mountain. Once you have found the fifty states in the past or the present, come and enjoy the scenic walk to this cache. The walk should take about 1 hour round trip.
