Puecklers Schatz am Viadukt
Der Muskauer Park bietet außergewöhnliche Naturerlebnisse: weitläufige Wiesen, majestätische Bäume, geschwungene Wege, pittoreske Seen und Flüsse, einzigartige Brücken und Bauten. Zu Fuß, per Kutsche, Fahrrad oder Boot lässt sich dieses Paradies erkunden. Was wie natürlich gewachsen scheint, ist von strenger Hand geschaffene Landschaft – ein Gartenkunstwerk von Hermann Fürst von Pückler-Muskau.
Das Viadukt überspannt eine Schlucht am Herrenberg im Osten des Parks. Hinter dem Durchgang erreicht der Besucher das Grab des Unbekannten, eine romantisch verklärte Grabstelle.

Puecklers Treasure at the Viaduct
Muskauer Park offers a unique experience of nature: broad meadows overlooked by majestic trees linked by winding paths and meandering rivers, interspersed with picturesque lakes, fascinating buildings and elegant bridges. This paradise can be explored on foot, in a carriage, on a bike or in a boat. But what appears to be a natural landscape is in fact the creation of one man – Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau.
The viaduct crosses a gully on the Herrenberg hill in the east of the park. Just after the viaduct, the visitor comes to the Tomb of the Unknown Man, a romantically ornamented grave.
