The posted coordinates will take you to a spot of local legend. There are many variations on the story associated with this tomb. The most popular one states that the recess on the tomb's cover, depicting a hand holding a knife, fills with blood on Halloween.
Though creepy sounding, the phenomenon is actually fairly common. It has to do with the type of stone the marker is made out of.
Not much is known about John Orr Sr. or his wife Martha. With a little research I've found that John was born in Ireland, the son of two Scots. He was a farmer by trade, but had retired by the time of his death. His granddaughter, Mary, took care of him at the end.
To find the final:
N43 58.(204+ABC)
W088 55.(869-2DE)
AB= Add the days on which the couple died (Example: Jan 5 + Feb 7 would give 12 (5+7))
C= The month John died (Example: May=5)
*So in my example ABC would = 125
Add that three digit number to the last three of the posted North coordinates.
DE= On Martha's side, it states "Aged _ _ Years"
Add 200 to that number.
Now take that 2xx number and subtract it from the last three of the posted West coordinates.
!! Remember, those numbers are examples. You'll have to look at the grave marker to get the actual ones!!
