Skala:
Na pólnocnym stoku wzgórza Bukowiec znajduje sie
piaskowcowa wychodnia skalna noszaca ze wzgledu na swój ksztalt
nazwe Kamien-Grzyb. Skala ma wysokosc 7 m, obwód "kapelusza" wynosi
26 m a podstawy 17 m. Swój ksztalt zawdziecza róznej odpornosci na
wietrzenie warstw piaskowca, z których jest zbudowany.
Prócz samego "grzyba" w poblizu znajduje sie kilka mniejszych
skalnych bloków. Niektóre z nich pokryte sa napisami, z których
najciekawsze sa lacinskie inskrypcje wyryte zapewne przez
zakonników z Nowego Wisnicza.
W 1962 r. na terenie gdzie znajduje sie Kamien-Grzyb utworzono
rezerwat przyrody. Prosze, nie zasmiecaj tego pieknego miejsca i
nie umieszczaj zadnych rysunków na skale.
Samochód najlepiej zaparkowac przy wspólrzednych N 49° 53.188 E
020° 28.519, skad niebieskim szlakiem w ok. 5 minut dotrzemy do
Kamienia-Grzyba.

The rock:
On the nothern slope of Bukowiec hill there is a
sandstone rock called Kamien-Grzyb (Mushroom-Rock) due to its
shape. The rock is 7 m high, and the circumference of the "cap" is
26 metres while that of the basement is 17 m. Its shape is a result
of different resistance to weathering of the sandstone that builds
the rock.
Apart from the "mushroom" there are also some smaller sandstone
boulders in the vicinity. On some of these there are carved
inscriptions and the most interesting is the Latin inscription,
probably made by monks from Nowy Wisnicz.
In 1962 on these grounds with Kamien-Grzyb a nature reserve was
established. Please, don't litter this nice place and and don't
make any inscriptions on the rocks.
The best place to leave your car is at coordinates N 49° 53.188 E
020° 28.519, from there go along a blue marked path and after 5
minutes you will arrive to the rock.

some items for trade.
