Come celebrate 10 years of geocaching!
The title is a nod to the fact that geocaching is an
international hobby and that 10/10/10 events are scheduled all over
the world.
This event will take place in Marathon Park in Wausau, WI. There is
camping available next to the area we are holding the event. It is
first come first served but October shouldn’t be an issue.
Cost is $18 for a site with electricity and $14 for a site without.
Come and spend a couple of days in Wausau, there are plenty of
caches to find!
Just to make it interesting, there will be a prize for the best
“creation” made out of aluminum (the traditional item
of a ten year anniversary). Recycled/recyclable materials should to
be used so we can recycle the creations after the event (or keep
them if you choose). Animals, buildings, vehicles, whatever your
imagination comes up with, family friendly of course.
Mrs. TBC will make a big pot of chili for anyone that wants some
and there are grills available if you want to cook something (we
will bring charcoal). Please bring something to share, salad,
chips, dessert or whatever your specialty is! There will be coffee
& cocoa available.
The event starts at 10:10 and group picture will be taken at
12:30pm. We will fire up the grills 11:00-11:30 depending on
requests.
We will add more info as it gets closer but hope to see as many
cachers as we can! .

NOTE: 2010 Wisconsin Geocaching Association geocoins will be
available for sale at the event.
