The Aalsma Glacial Habitat Restoration Area is a 71 acre parcel of WDNR land, managed for production of waterfowl, wild pheasant, and other non-game songbirds.
In an era of ever increasing rural development and disappearing farmland and wetland, these areas are critical to the feeding, nesting, and overall survival of birds and other wildlife.
This is the nineteenth in the "Room 2 Roam" cache placements.
These are not park 'n' grabs and can be wet during the different seasons of the year.
Enjoy your trek and watch for wildlife!
