History:
On the site where the cache is now, once stood an intact radar station, which is part of the "Iraklion Air Station," which is located in the nearby village of Gournes. There were 16.000 soldiers at peak times of the Americans.
 Their task was to support allies such as the USAFE and NATO.
The station was closed in 1993.
