Geocache Description:

Not quite a park and grab, but not too demanding either. This cache is just off the end of Woodchuck Lane in the George W. Mead Wildlife Area. This area is open to hunting, so wear orange during hunting season and please be respectful of other users.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the Mead Wildlife Conservation Land Manager of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information are available at www.wi-geocaching.com/hiding Please obey all rules and policies of Mead Wildlife Area, particularly in respect to wildlife refuge areas. Refuges are closed from September 1 through December 10. Dogs must be kept on leash between April 15 and July 31. Please practice Cache-In, Trash-Out.
