How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Start at the Sanderling Nature Center.

2:00 pm or (in real time)1400hr.
The global positioning system (GPS) has revolutionized finding directions and locating specific sites, or places. There will be a 20 ish minute session on learning to use a hand-held GPS device.
Then it's off to the Black River Trail in search of hidden treasures at selected geocache locations. Bring your own GPS or use one that will be available for the event.
This program is best for adults and children over the age of 10 (ish). Children must be accompanied by an adult. Wear comfortable shoes. No pets allowed.
