Geocache Description:

This is a 2 stage multi-cache placing an emphasis on off trail route finding in the outback of Northern Wisconsin. It will get you into some beautiful and somewhat remote country.

Park at N45° 29.455 W088° 52.206 (under some conditions, 4WD will be preferable, but when dry and no snow, I have gotten in with a regular car).

It will help if you're familiar with this area to take advantage of the existing trails and logging roads to get around (but definitely not essential). The first station is a 1 3/4" x 5" camouflaged metal tag wired to a small pine at eye level. On the tag you will find the coordinates for the cache itself. It will become evident at this point that you cannot go directly to the cache coordinates due to the intervening no-mans land. Here's where a little intuition will pay off!

The cache itself is a camouflaged 3lb plastic jar with screw on lid. It is plainly visible (from the right direction) in a hollow at the base of a tree. The original contents include: a mini tackle box containing some fishing paraphernalia, a nice die-cast Castrol race car, a new jar of bubbles, new sealed breath mints, a Great America fan, an old lensatic compass, and most importantly a tag engraved "FIRST FINDER - THE END OF THE EARTH". This tag is in the baggie with the logbook and it's for the first finder to take and keep as a trophy and souvenir.

Hope you enjoy the peace and tranquility of "The End of the Earth". Artopsy
