Riding the trains at the Chaippewa Valley Railroad is where I love to spend my summer weekend afternoons. It is located at Carson Park.
Visit my first cache, but make sure to jump aborad the Chippewa Valley Railroad for a train ride. The CVRR is a well known gem found in Carson Park. I have spent many Saturday and Sunday afternoons riding these trains. The Chippewa Valley Railboad offers rides from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend Saturday and Sundays noon to 5pm. The trains sport 1880 passenger style coaches, steam and disel locomotives, a gondola car, and caboose. This is a gem that should be well supported. This very well could be a park and grab cace.
My microcache is about 4 inches high with only a log inside, so bring a pen. This is a winter friendly cache, as long as the road to the trains is passable. I didn't put this cache at the train station. You will not have to do any bushwacking to get to it. Enjoy the view this is my first cache, and all constructive comments are always welcome! Thanks!!!
