Geocache Description:

A Fun Series of Geocaches along the Nahatlatch Forest Service Road.

Logging opened up this area with the building of The Cog Harrington Bridge over the Fraser River to North Bend.  Before the bridge was built, the way to cross the Fraser River was by way of an aerial tram.  The Francis Harrington Park in Boston Bar is the final resting place for the aerial tram as well as lots of history of the area.

ROCKY . . . is a longtime resident of this Valley.  His place is referred to by the locals as KM 12.  The Ministry of Highways recently changed the KM markings, a difference of 8 KMS.

At the GZ, if you approach slowly and quietly, you could chance upon a deer or group of deer as this is a traditional crossing for them to go for water.
