Geocache Description:

12-12-12
Meet and Greet!
Groundspeak will be giving out a Souvenir to all cachers
who log a "Found it" or "Attended" on 12-12-12.

What:
A meet and greet for Cachers to get together and meet other Cacher's and share caching stories. Tell about interesting caches that they have found and maybe even give out some hints for caches some people are having trouble with. We will also play some Caching Games and there will be Door Prizes just for attending!

Wednesday, Decemeber 12, 2012.
6 pm to 7 pm

Why:

To Earn a Souvenir, To Meet other Cachers, To Trade and Discover Trackables, and to possibly WIN one of the Door Prizes!

We could give all kinds of facts and figures about the number 12 but we will let you search the web and find them for yourselves.

*********~Update, November 13th~*********

This event is just a month away, we have been receiving door prizes from friends and businesses. WCD received a bunch of trackables in the mail today!

We plan on playing "Get to Know You" Bingo and weather permitting we will play a game of "Geocaching Golf". We will post the rules to Geocaching Golf as we get closer to the event.

WCD is donating a WoodSpirit carving for the get to know you bingo prize, he's working on some other carvings and hopes to have them done by the event.

*********~Update, December 4th~*********

8 days till the Event!

We have been collecting Door Prizes and now have quite a few, We have also purchased a 12-12-12 Geocoin, everyone who attends will be in the drawing for the 12-12-12 Geocoin.

We were planning on playing GeoGolf but Sam Ryan from our local CBS station says we could see 9 inches or more snow by the 12th. With this event only being an hour long and the possibility of snow we decided not to play geogolf.

WCD, and possibly CMR and TMD will have their path tags along, so if you want to trade Path Tags we will be glad to do that.

There will be an area to trade and discover trackables!

We are all looking forward to seeing everyone at the event!
