This will be a great opportunity for cachers in our area to meet each other, while at the same time welcoming our snowy, feathered friends into our flock. It will also provide an opportunity for networking and finding new Geo-friends to share our hobby with. This event will also be a follow-up to a geocaching 101 Event (GC3XY96) held earlier in the morning and will help new cachers to make some great new geofriends to help encourage them to join our game.
Some Geo-prizes will be raffled at this event, purchased with money from last year's "Feathered Friends Eat & Greet". It would be great if you would donate door prizes like cache containers, hand sanitizer, logs, bison tubes, tweezers, flashlights, etc. I will also be letting everyone know about a GREAT geo-weekend we are planning in the Park in March.
Please bring a covered dish and RSVP on this page. Be sure to bring your bikes or walking sticks to enjoy the 100+ caches of Gulf State Park while you are here.
The event will be held at the Gulf State Park Nature Center Classroom from 12:00p.m.-1:30pm. There is a $1/car fee for visitors who are not registered Park guests. Bring a dish and enjoy the fun, while meeting other cachers in our area. See you there.
