A relatively short meet and greet to have smores - see caveat below! Not quite a flashmob - you can stick around, but not quite everyone hanging around all night either. Stay as long as you like. Enjoy the area's dining and shopping.
This event will happen precisely at 7:30 pm at the fireplace at One Pacific Place, located about 103rd and Pacific Streets and it will happen rain or ice or blizzard.
Graham crackers, chocolate bars, and marshmellows will be provided. You need to bring your own wire/stick/etc to "cook" your marshmellow!
How convenient that the fireplace is there waiting to keep us warm and cook our marshmellows! Wait! Huh? We can't cook marshmellows at this fireplace?
Oh well, I don't like marshmellows anyway (except in Rice Krispie Treats - mmmmm).
So, at 7:30 pm, NOT BEFORE, show up with your cooking utensil, get a marshmellow, and we will all PRETEND to cook our marshmellows at the fireplace. We will have group photos "cooking" our marshmellows. You can eat your uncooked marshmellow smore if you like.
Everyone that comes will be entered for door prizes and FTF. I am bringing the goodies. You can bring a piece of paper with your cache name on it to drop into a bucket. Your piece of paper will be used as the log and for the drawing. If you make it too small, it probably will not be drawn. If you make it too big, it probably will not be drawn. Make it "just right".
Your safety is of the utmost concern:
Do not come if you feel the weather and you will not play well together.
Do not come if you are afraid of fireplaces.
Do not come if you are afraid of the dark.
Do not come if you are afraid of pointy things.
Do not come if marshmellows scare you.
Do not practice your swashbuckling skills with your pointy things.
Do not light anything on fire as we don't need the danger or the potential mess.
