This Cache replaces an earlier Cache at this park. The original Cache was destroyed when improvements were made to the Ball Diamond.
On the western outskirts of Irma, WI is a seldom used Baseball field. "Back in the Day" this was the home field for the mighty Irma Turtles. Many of my friends were members of that Turtle team. They played Sunday afternoons in a now defunct Lincoln County Baseball Legue. They supplied a lot of entertainment and despair for their families and friends.
This Cache is dedicated to the former Irma Turtles and to all those who enjoyed the antics of these young men.
