Das Museum:
Das Alpin-Museum Ramsau Dachstein ist das erste Alpinmuseum und das höchstgelegene Museum der Steiermark. Hier erfährst Du etwas über die erdgeschichtliche Entstehung des Dachsteinmassives, die Geschichte des Alpinismus und die Bezwingung des Dachsteins.
Öffnungszeiten des Museums und der Schutzhütte:
Mitte Mai bis Ende Oktober
Der Weg:
Wie so oft gibt es mehrere Wege, die Dich zum Schatz führen. Du kannst z.B. die Forststraße nehmen, oder über den Rosegger-Steig hoch steigen. Parkplätze habe ich als Wegpunkte angegeben.
Wie auch immer Du ans Ziel gelangst, die Aussicht hier oben wird Dich für Deine Mühen belohnen.
Der Cache:
Der Schatz ist außerhalb der Almhütte und des Alpin-Museums versteckt und das ganze Jahr über zugänglich, sofern es die Schneeverhältnisse zulassen. Da sich der Schatz auf dem Grund der Schutzhütte befindet, habe ich die Erlaubnis des Pächters eingeholt.
Du benötigst KEIN Werkzeug, um diesen Schatz zu bergen. Auch mußt Du dazu das Gebäude nicht betreten.

Ich hab viel Zeit und Liebe in diesen Schatz investiert, und ich möchte Dich daher bitten, vorsichtig und sorgsam mit ihm umzugehen, damit er auch noch vielen Geocachern und Geocacherinnen nach Dir eine Freude bereitet.
The Museum:
The Alpin-Museum Ramsau Dachstein is the first alpine museum and the highest museum of Styria. Here you learn about the geological genesis of the Dachstein mountain range, the history of alpinism and the conquest of the Dachstein.
Opening hours of the museum and the alpine hut: From middle of May until end of October
The Route:
As so often there are several routes to the cache. You can take the forest road or you hike up the Rosegger-Steig. I have added waypoints for the parking lots.
Whichever route you take the view from the cache location will reward you for your efforts.
The Cache:
The cache is hidden outside the alpine hut and the alpine museum and is accessible throughout the year, as long snow conditions permit. Since the cache is on the ground of the alpine hut I have obtained permission from the owner.
You WON'T need tools to open the cache and you don't need to enter the building.
