The KC MASTER EVENT - 304 Pre-MOGA Midweek Meal Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

StealthRT: A Master event held midweek where many regulars could not attend due to their MOGA plans and we still almost broke out of the event space. This was really something.

I appreciate everyone who came out to make this event so enjoyable.

Geocache Description:

The KC Master Event

The KC M.A.S.T.E.R. EVENT
Kansas City’s Monthly Area Sit Talk Eat Relax Event

The mandate of the KC Master event is simple. This is a monthly gathering where cachers and the cacher-curious can gather to sit, talk, eat, and relax.

Event Date: Wednesday, April 3, 2013
Event Time: 7:00 PM
Event Type: Casual

This is a casual event. Come in. Pay for your meal. Sit in proximity to cachers. Relax. Eat. Chat.

If this is one of your first events but you have some apprehension, feel free to email the event owner at Geocaching(at)kc.rr.com and the event host will be happy to introduce you around.

This month’s venue is Pizza Ranch. We will be meeting in the Ranch Event Room. Pizza Ranch will have a buffet available for purchase. You may also feel free to order off the menu. The Ranch also has a small indoor basketball room that the kids may enjoy.

This year The Master Committee will be giving away a Master Prize to one attendee. Every time you attend and log a qualified KC Master Event during the year, you gain an entry for the drawing to be held at the end of the year.

The 2013 Master Prize is a Geocaching consultation with StealthRT. During the consultation Stealth will take a full inventory of the winner’s caching techniques and habits. He will then make various recommendations. One of these recommendations will include determining what GPS unit would work best for the winner’s caching style. Stealth will then issue the winner a GPS unit he believes will best complement the winner in the field. Keep in mind that during the first few months of the year, Stealth’s caching bag contained a Montana 650 and an Oregon 650, so it is likely that the winner of The Master Prize will walk away with a very nice unit.
