Impromptu event starting at the University of Wisconsin Parkside and moving through Petrifying Springs Park. Meeting at noon.
This is an impromptu event. My girlfriend and I just plan on going out to some of our favorite caching spots around the University itself and at Petrifying Springs Park along with some new ones. Meet up with us at noon to get some Caching In and some Trash Out. We do all of our travel on foot, and unfortunately are poor college students. So please, bring the following items (as you see fit) for yourselves because we will be unable to provide them.
-trash bags
-gloves
-drinking water
-tradeables
-trackables
-snacks/lunches (please use reusable containers for these to cut down on waste)
We are planning to eat prior while sitting around the pond next to the fine arts building parking lot.
IF IT RAINS THIS EVENT IS STILL ON!
We love to go through mud to find a good cache and the rain isn't going to pick up the trash for us. The only way we will cancel for whether is if there is a thunderstorm. Personally I'd rather not be around trees while lightning is striking.
There may be prizes for those who clean up the most trash but that is still TBA (as previously stated poor college students here)
