Celebrate Labor day weekend Geocaching with friends! Woahink lake is popular for a variety of activities, including fishing, boating, swimming and of course Geocaching! Camping is available nearby at Honeyman State Park campground.
Activities will begin at 9am and continue throughout the day.
Three stages of activity: First fun and games in the park!
Second, the potluck picnic at noon.
Third, the prize giveaway.
A picnic lunch featuring various hot dogs and burgers, provided by the event organizers, will be at the covered picnic area. Electricity will be available for hot dishes.
Please bring a side dish of your choosing, as this is a potluck lunch.
Suggested side dishes: Beans, chips, salad, deserts, fruit, cheese etc.
Bring your own refreshments (drinks)
Events: Kayaking! There are geocaches and a game on the lake!
Don't have a boat? Even if you are a land lubber, there are Fun Geo-related gps games in the park!.
Prize giveaway after lunch. There will be three event geocoins given away and other prizes.
Please bring something geo-related, if you wish, to add to the prize table.
