Cherokee County Parks is sponsoring a Contest, that will have you explore various parks within in Cherokee County, there will be 12 caches hidden, some will be posted on Geocaching.com others will not. This is one of those caches. Contest runs from Aug. 1st to Aug 15th 2013. Resgistration forms and rules can be down loaded from Cherokeecountyparks.com, under Tab: Activities,(registrations forms won't be available to download or receive, until Aug. 1st). Prizes will be a free night(s) in park's cabins (3 prizes will be awarded). All entry or registration forms must be postmarked or returned by Aug. 15th. Forms can be picked up and delivered to Cherokee County Parks, 629 River Road, Cherokee, Ia. 51012 coordinates: N 42 44.648 W. 095 332.687. At the front entrance of this location will be a clear brochure holder were you can pick up the registration and forms, that will also be made availibly Aug. 1st. At the front entrance, of this same location, is a brown mailbox where you can hand deliver your completed form. Each cache in this series has a code word within the cover of the log book, you will need to collect all twelve code words, for submission. All correct answered, submitted forms, will then be thrown into a box then hand-drawn, the three winners. Only one submission per family. If you missed the contest, this cache will continue to be a permanent cache to find.
