Yo, we geocachers love to gather to celebrate any occasion so why not do just that on Thursday Sept 19th for International Speak Like a Pirate Day? Come dressed as a pirate or however you please. Coordinates will bring you to Pirates Cove Adventure Golf on Rt. 3 (Laconia Rd) in Winnisquam. We will gather at 6pm and those wishing to cough up a little gold and compete in a killer game of miniature golf will play on one of two courses. The group cost for playing golf is $6. Those wantin more fun can play golf, ride the bumper boats and shoot baskets for the group rate of $9.50. We’s hopin for a beautiful end of summer night with a lot of laughs and a lot of fun! Bring the little buccaneers along!
Also check all yer finds and see how many caches ye have found with the word pirate in thee title. There be a prize for whoever has the most. Honor system, but if ye is thought to be telling an untruth, ye shall have to walk the plank!
The event will last till all ye er done playin and ready for some rum. We’ll have ta go down the road as it is dry at the Cove.
Don’t come look’n for swag, but ye may find some booty being passed out.
Dress like a pirate, practice yer pirate talk, get a hole in one but don’t get yer ball in the pond! There will be prizes- some booby prizes!
Ye don’t have to play golf to sign the log, but ye will have to give your best “Aarrgghh” before signin!
