WE’RE GOING TO SPACE!

A Geocaching Travel Bug® is hitching a ride with astronaut Rick Mastracchio straight to the International Space Station.

Come celebrate with your fellow geocachers! We will be watching the live launch online and waving goodbye to our trackable friend TB5JJN1.

Bring your laptops, TB's, and cache stories. Geocaching HQ will issue a Geocaching in Space souvenir to those who attend Event Caches during the launch. Please Log a Will Attend Log as soon as possible so I can let the establishment know how many of us to expect. Also, a Space Shuttle geocoin, FTF honors, and other prizes will be raffled off at the event.

There will be a Travel Bug "hidden somewhere at the event. The first person to find and discover the Travel Bug will win one of Groundspeak's Geocaching in Space commemorative patches!
