All attendees (who log this event as attended) will receive a virtual souvenir on their profile, regardless of whether or not you have hidden a geocache yourself.
This event will cover the entire process of submitting a tradtional geocache (other types will be discussed) to be published by geocaching.com, with special emphasis placed on containers and camouflage for site specific success that will hopefully prevent muggles from taking the container and will minimize cache owner maintenance. This will be a live demonstration as I will be taking everyone step by step and actually submitting a geocache for review.
Finally, any attendees who are willing to bring examples of types of containers, both camouflaged and NOT camouflaged, that they have created or bought, it would be much appreciated. I will have quite a few examples on hand of cache containers but the more containers newer cachers can see, the better, as it will give them a better idea of containers they can use if they wish to submit their very own hide. Feel free to bring any slideshows, videos or pictures that we can put up on the projector showing the build and/or hide process.
