Groundspeak has decreed that it is time to celebrate those who make our little pasttime possible. They're calling this time "Maker Madness". Come out and help us all celebrate geocaching! Oh, and you get a special souvenir from Groundspeak for attending!
This isn't a big fancy get together, just a bunch of friends getting together around a grill. If everyone brings something with them, we'll have plenty of food to share. Please tell us all what you're bringing in your post so we can make sure we have all the bases covered. Let's try for the usual spring/summer BBQ fare. Ya know, burgers, dogs, that sort of thing.
To keep with the theme of "Maker Madness", we'll be having a Creative Caching Container Contest (boy, that was alliterative). If you have the time and the inclination, whip up some creative, clever, or downright devious caching creation and bring it along to share with the rest of the group. I'm sure we can round up a prize or three for the favorites......
We'll meet up at 3:00 at the pavilion at the posted coordinates. We'll wrap things up around 5:00 and see if anybody wants to continue with the afternoon after that. We'll have a bite to eat, show off our creations, and maybe head out to do some caching after we clean up.
