Raccoon's Porch Traditional Geocache

Mathers Woods is a 50 acre Floyd County Wildlife Reserve located off Cameo Ave, just south of Nora Springs. It's just one mile off of the interstate, so it makes a great place to stretch the legs in the woods for a half an hour.  

A primitive trail will lead you west from the parking lot (waypoint included) through the woods, bringing you near this cache.

My 9 year old son helped me with this placement. Geocaching is such a great excuse to bring the kids or grandkids out for a hike.  I placed some kid-friendly swag in the cache to start.  Please consider trading kid friendly swag if you choose to swap.  

This cache had disappeared, and I've replaced the container. Hopefully, it will scare away its forest friends!  Please secure it as you found it.
