Geocache Description:

CITO - Pioneer Park

Come and join us for our CITO event at Pioneer Park. We will be holding the CITO - Pioneer Park in Albert Lea, MN on Saturday morning, April 26, 2014 at 10:00 am.

We will be meeting at the covered pavilion that has picnic tables. However, restrooms will NOT be available, as the city parks deparment doesn't officially open the parks until May. However there is a nearby Mall and fast food places and gas stations that would have restrooms. Come early and join us for coffee at the GC51HQX Prairie Pioneer Coffee Clache at 9:00.

One weekend per year, geocachers around the world join together to help remove trash from geocaching-friendly locations. So come and join us for great comradery as we clean up the Park. The garbage bags will be furnished as will latex free, powder free, vinyl gloves. There are some fun and unique local caches nearby for finding.

So mark this on your calendar. A great way to meet up with old friends and to make some new ones too. Also all who attend and log this event will be eligible for the 2014 CITO souvenir from geocaching.com for their profile page.
