Originally I placed this cache here in late January 2002. It was never posted because I was waiting till I could place Micro II-Coin Cache. It seems to of survived the 3 months unscathed, minus a few scratches to the exterior.
Inside the cache you'll find the following items:
-laminated mini geocaching.com readme
-mini log book, 2 golf pencils, small pencil sharpener
-many pairs of different colored dice (see photo below)
The cache is located off the main trail. Fallen trees will be the only real obstacle. The are some trails around the area but most are faint.
My visit on 4-26-02 was to add some black dice, make sure the cache was still there and confirm the coordinates. I have selected coordinates that are not so "dead-on". That way it's a little harder to find. Expect it to be within 20ft of the coordinates. There is good view of the sky so you should get a good signal. My coordinates were taken with an eTrex Vista at 13ft accuracy.
Feel free to take a pair of dice even if you don not leave anything. There are plenty of dice to share. If the stock gets low please leave a message here and I will restock it. Also post what you take on the website.
Keep in mind the cache is only about 4 1/2" tall by 1 1/2" tall. Refer to the cache photo to get an idea of what it looks like.
Things to remember:
-If you leave something it must be dice. The size of most dice used in board games are the absolute biggest size you can leave.
-Bag the dice so they don't get lost.
-Remember how everything is packed when you open the cache, so that you can pack it the same way.
-Make sure the log book is safe in it's baggy and that you don't catch it in the lid or tear it closing the top.
-Bring a pen if you want to write your log in ink.
-Please leave the date and time you visited.
-Place the cache back where you found it.
