Since I was unable to locate the original Buena Vista cache and this is a great place for one, I had to place one in the park. The cache is off of the hiking trail that starts off in the park. The cache is a short distance from the start of the trail. The trail is easy walking in this area, but if you plan on hiking the entire trail it will give you a work out.
Update 10-29-2022: Cache is now a 2" lock and lock
The cache is in an old plastic Skippy jar. Inside of the jar are the following:
- Virus Travel bug,
- Auto Wet Towel,
- sgt. stripe,
- glove case,
- Rabbit PEZ,
- un-Lucky Rabbit foot,
- super ball,
- Pocket Knife from Charity Cache,
- Dog poop bags,
- Log book and pencil.
Watch for wood ticks and make sure you check out the wonderful views.
