Don't Be Afraid of the "Unknown" Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

iowaPete: Again, my thanks to all who attended. It would seem that this is a subject worth exploring further. Maybe we can get together again next year and work up a few more of these. I also wanted to extend a big thank you to Hurstville Nature Center for allowing us the time and space to put on this little event. It is a great facility and I always enjoy my visits there...

Cheers!

Geocache Description:

Stop by the Hurstville Interpretive Center north of the town of Maquoketa at 2pm for a chance to chat about Puzzle caches!

There are several different types of "?", "Unknown", "Mystery" or "Puzzle" geocaches out there in the game.  For many of us, a number of these puzzles are, well, puzzling!  I thought it would be good to get together for an hour and chat a little bit about the different types of Unknown caches and maybe offer a few tips to help break through the many codes, twists, and turns of the Big Blue Question Mark.  We'll spend a little time chatting about puzzles, and quite possibly, a new cache will be made available for those of you who would like to head out and track down a smiley afterwards.
