Wow...what a fishing trip we had!
Since we live close to Fond du Lac, we decided to do some walleye fishing in Lake Winnebago. Unfortunately, Aimee got a hook in the hand after three casts. So, three hours and 6 stitches later, we were out and moving on to our next adventure. OUCH!
Lake Winnebago was a bust so we drove to Appleton to do some panfishing at Pierce Park. While there, the skies opened up and our boat ended up with 2 inches of water in the bottom. While trying to empty the boat of its water, Scott fell overboard! It was definitely time to move on.
Being the bass fisherman she is, Dawn wanted to head to Borth for a celebratory steak dinner after bagging 7 bass on her chug bug. We may have had a few celebratory drinks, too!
Venturing further south, we hit the Milwaukee River in Campbellsport, but we ended up losing 5 lures in the trees along the winding river. Those were some expensive mistakes, being seven dollars a lure!
With boat in tow, we tried for muskie on Elkhart Lake. The moss back eluded us for 7 hours, but Brian finally managed to net the slimy green meany.
After a long day of fishing, we all decided it was time for a few beers to lick our wounds and tell some fish tales. We ended up at a bar in Dundee. Our last count, we polished off about 6 beers a piece! Cab, please?!
After sleeping off last night's bottle bass, we realized we lost some gear somewhere along the way. Could you help us find it?
