This is hands down the best view on the Idaho Palouse. On a clear day, you can see as far as the Seven Devils and the Wallowas. The hike up is not as bad as it looks. If the gate is open, you can park about one mile from the top and hike the rest of the way on the road. If the gate is closed (as it currently is), it'll be about a 2 mile hike along the road. This hike can be combined with GC5WN6W to make a 5.6 mile trip to two special places on the mountain.
You're looking for a Lock n' Lock hidden in the rocks. This is a high muggle area, so please be sure to rehide the container well. There's a special prize for the FTF.
