Geocache Description:

Another Cache to highlight a Fire Lookout site. I reached this from Cedar Butte road, but was able to continue on North and came out On Foss Road on the Nehalem. You can drive to the road, then walk a short distance up a gated road to the site

Triangulation point was active as an Emergency Lookout site from 1955-1966..The foundations and steps are still standing, but now a Sheriff Communication trailer sits on the foundation. The benchmark seems to be missing and the steps are to nowhere, but it is still a cool site to visit and of course there are great views!
