An ammo can located at the former location of the Goat Peak Fire Lookout tower.
There are a couple different approaches, mine was from the south end of the 1304 trail. To get there, take exit 62, then south on FS-54 to FS-41 to FS-4110 to FS-4110-118 (unmarked with deep water breaks). The trailhead and cache are at ~5,000', however there is about 1,200' elevation gain and loss between. I also read where the trail coming up from Easton is a popular snowshoe trail because it's too steep for snowmobiles.
The original lookout was a cupola cabin in 1928, replaced with an L-4 cabin in the 30s and eventually a 10' TT flat that ended up in private ownership in a backyard in the Teanaway Valley. You can see a pic and read more about it in Ray Kresek's "Fire Lookouts of the Northwest".
