Geocache Description:

A year has been and gone and it’s time for another CacheWalker Bash - this time Twixmas becomes Twinew - we’d love for you to join us to celebrate the new year!
Everyone is welcome to attend, cachers old and new, for the event, pre-event walk or both; a Twinew excuse for some Geocaching chit chat, a good walk and some festive antics!

Twinew 2016

10:00 meet for a 10:30 depart for the CacheWalker pre-event group walk
As is traditional with our classic CacheWalker events, there will be a pre-event group walk taking place before the event. We will meet at the posted coordinates (for Condicote Village Hall). Wrighty will be placing a new series of caches in the area, over a route approximately 5 miles in length. We must reiterate that this is a pre-event group walk, therefore you are not obliged to attend. We are simply noting it here so that you are aware of all the going-ons for the day, in keeping with the Event guidelines. Please don't forget to bring a change of footwear for the official event afterwards, as some of the route might be muddy.

12:30-15:00 - The event, Condicote Village Hall, Condicote
For the third year running, our big event will be taking place in a village hall - this time, we're coming to Condicote, a village near Stow on the Wold. Whilst there are the facilities to make tea and coffee, we will not be providing lunch, so bring something along, perhaps some remaining Christmas leftovers - if you can save them for that little bit longer! There will be a raffle along with the usual amount of geochat, fun, TB/GC spotting and hopefully some new caches elsewhere in and around the village. See below for a full list of some of the activities we have planned for the day.
Parking is found outside of the village hall, at the posted coordinates. Unfortunately, no dogs, with the exception of guide dogs, are allowed inside the village hall. In your Will Attend logs, please state how many of you will be attending so that we can keep track on numbers.

Caches
There’ll be new caches released to coincide with the event: from Wrighty’s new series for the pre-event group walk, to a few more placed in and around the village. Wrighty’s existing Ryknild Street and Roman Road caches can also be found starting from the village, so why not pop out during or after the main event to find them?

Twinew Raffle
In order to help fund costs for the event, a raffle will be taking place. It's the tenth day of Christmas, and Santa wants to see some more presents exchanged before the festive season is over! If you can bring along a wrapped gift, ideally Geocaching related (that you would want to receive!) that would be great. On arrival, please put your wrapped gift on Santa's Raffle table . THEN DON'T FORGET TO PURCHASE A RAFFLE TICKET!

Other activities
Awards - it's time to lower the chequered flag on this year's record-breaking CacheWalker SuperBike Challenge (CWSBC) and declare the winners, issuing them with their prizes. There will also be an opportunity for anyone to join us for next year's race... keep an eye on this listing for news regarding this.
FTF draw - all attendees will automatically be entered into a draw for FTF of the event. As well as bragging rights, the winner will also go home with a little prize!
TB/GC Swapping and Spotting - As usual, there will be time for trackable swapping and spotting why not drop your TBs in the box for another cacher to pick up and move on?
More activities? - we could announce more as we get nearer to the event (remember that this is an early listing) so watch this space!

Disclaimer
All the usual blahdy, blah, blah which means you do everything at your own risk and we are responsible for absolutely nothing (including the weather). If you don't feel safe doing it, then don't do it. Simples!

Wondering what Twinew is? Check out the hint!

**Remember this is an EARLY LISTING - please watch and check this page for any updates and announcements as we get closer to the event!**
