[LT] Šešuolių Šv. Juozapo bažnyčia stovi Šešuolių miestelyje, prie kelio į Želvą, ant nedidelės aukštumos. Turi baroko bruožų, su trisiene apside ir 2 nedidelėmis zakristijomis prie jos, 2 bokštais. Fasadas su pusapskričiu frontonu. Šventoriaus akmenų mūro tvoros kampe stovi medinė varpinė (cokolis akmeninis). Šventoriuje yra stogastulpis su 2 koplytėlėmis. Kabo 1762 m. tapytas bažnyčios fundatoriaus paveikslas, XIX a. Šv. Kazimiero paveikslas.
Altoriuje yra du paveikslai – Švč. Mergelės Marijos (išlikęs iš antrosios bažnyčios, nutapytas 1747 m.) ir Šv. Juozapo. Paveikslai daugiausia nutapyti ant metalo.
Pirmoji tribokštė medinė bažnyčia pastatyta 1572 m. Pirmasis klebonas Pranas Rapolkevičius buvo įpareigotas išlaikyti mokyklą ir mokytoją. Bažnyčia per karą su Rusija 1656 m. tikriausiai sudegė. Vyskupo Konstantino Kazimiero Bžostovskio rūpesčiu 1694 m. atstatyta (galimai atnaujinta po gaisro).
1751 m. vyskupo M. Zenkavičiaus rūpesčiu pastatyta dabartinė medinė bažnyčia, apie 1753 m. – varpinė. Apie 1803 m. bažnyčia suremontuota. 1879–1884 m. suremontuota bažnyčia, klebonija, perstatyta varpinė, apmūrytas šventorius. Caro laikais bažnyčia priklausė Giedraičių dekanatui, buvo apie 5000 parapijiečių. Iki 1896 m. klebonas Juozapas Lukša skaitydavo tik lietuviškus pamokslus. Jam mirus, kunigas Petras Balkauskis greta lietuviškų pradėjo ir lenkiškus pamokslus, nors jų tesiklausydavo tik 10 šlėktų, ir taip gerai supratusių lietuviškai.
2009 m. balandžio 24 d. buvo išversti avarinės būklės šventoriaus vartai, kurie Lietuvos kultūros departamento nurodymu atstatyti tų pačių metų liepos mėnesį.
[EN] Šešuoliai St. Joseph's Church stands in the town of Šešuoliai, near the road to Želva, on a small hill. Has baroque features, with a three-seater apse and 2 small sacristyons near it, with 2 towers. Facade with a semi-circular fronton. In the corner of the churchyard stone masonry fence there is a wooden bell tower (rock stone). In the churchyard there is a roof rack with 2 chapels. There are two paintings in the altar - St. Virgin Mary (preserved from the second church, painted in 1747) and St. Joseph The paintings are mostly painted on metal.
The first wooden chapel was built in 1572. The first pastor, Pranas Rapolkevičius, was obliged to keep the school and the teacher. Church during the war with Russia in 1656 probably burned. At 1694 at bishop Konstantinas Kazimieras Bžostovskis concern it was restored (possibly renewed after a fire).
At 1751 bishop M. Zenkavičius built the present wooden church, about 1753 - the bell tower About 1803 the church was repaired. 1879-1884 renovated church, rectory, rebuilt bell tower, wardrobe. In the time of the Car, the church belonged to the Giedraičiai deanery, there were about 5000 parishioners. By 1896 Pastor Joseph Luke read only Lithuanian sermons. After his death, the priest Petras Balkauskis started Polish sermons besides Lithuanian, even though they only listened to 10 scoffers and so well understood in Lithuanian.
2009 April 24 the gate of the church were demolished, which was reinstated by the Lithuanian Department of Culture in July of the same year.
