This is a very interesting monument ...or construction in the middle of a corn field. Looks like it could be something used to monitor alien activity?
This is a virtual cache that you need to check out when your in the neighborhood of the Grinnell rest stop caches. It really is VERY strange and out of place. I thought it was worth a posting as a virtual cache. Mr. Maasdam, and I hear with a little help from his son, really did finish an interesting and amazing task. Does anyone know more of the story? It appears there was a lot of effort put into this.... was there a deeper purpose?
Please email the date of the construction to claim credit for the find.
Please don't post pictures of the "cache" or dates. The initial siteing of the monument is ruined by seeing pictures.
If anyone has more information about the cache please email me. I have tried to find more info with a little success, but it would be so cool to have "the rest of the story"
