Geocache Description:

Most visitors to the Ming Tombs outside of Beijing, China should find this one with a little effort.

The Sacred Way of the Ming Tombs was built in 1435 and was extended in 1504. Between the Tablet Pavilion and the Dragon and Phoenix Gate is a long walkway flanked on both sides by stone animals and statues. These 36 figures, erected between 1436 and 1438, represent lions, xie zhi (legendary animals), camels, elephants, Chinese unicorns, horses, military and civilian officials and meritorious ministers.

To log this one, find the statue at the coordinates and email me with a description of what it is and what it is doing. Be specific -- don't just say you found an elephant, instead tell me that you found an elephant standing on three legs. Make sure you include enough detail so that I know it's not a guess.

An admission fee is required to enter the Sacred Way but if you're a tourist in Beijing for more than one day, you'll end up here anyway!

PLEASE DO NOT POST ANY PHOTOS THAT MIGHT GIVE AWAY THE "ANSWER" TO THIS CACHE. THANKS.
